The outdoor-ready Axis P3248-LVE / AXIS-01598-001 is a dome camera delivers outstanding 4K resolution in challenging light conditions including brilliant colours even in poor light, thanks to Lightfinder 2.0, forensic WDR and OptimizedIR. The video compression is efficient, as Zipstream technology significantly reduces storage and bandwidth needs and enhanced security features ensuring that the camera's firmware cannot be tampered with. It is also repaintable to blend in and is designed for easy and discreet installations.

The P3248-LVE camera uses a 1/1.8" progressive scan RGB CMOS sensor to capture 3840 x 2160 resolution video at up to 30 fps. IR LEDs provide up to 130' of night vision. A 4.3-8.6mm varifocal lens delivers a 100 to 53° horizontal field of view. Integrated PoE technology simplifies connectivity by enabling the transfer of power and data through a single cable. A built-in memory card slot accepts microSD/SDHC/SDXC cards.

This dome camera complies with ONVIF profiles G, S, and T, making it compatible with a wide range of surveillance devices. It is housed in an IP66-, NEMA 4X-, and IK10-rated enclosure for outdoor use in areas at risk of vandalism.
