The Hikvision DS-2CD2166G2-I(SU) also known as HIK-2CD21662ISUx is a 6MP outdoor AcuSense gen 2 dome camera. Empowered by deep learning algorithms, Hikvision's AcuSense technology can distinguish people and vehicles from other moving objects, such as falling leaves or small animals. While originally created with the purpose of preventing false alarms, AcuSense technology offers users several other key benefits such as advanced analytics, active deterrence and timely alerts.

The most paramount feature with the AcuSense gen 2 cameras is the analytic alert which will generate alarm events that are searchable when reviewing recorded footage for specific incidents. This saves many man hours of wasted time reviewing irrelevant video trying to identify an event, saving the end customer time and money. The inclusion of a built-in microphone allows for real-time audio security so the user may hear the intruder when the alarm is triggered. The camera also has an alarm input that can support third party devices such as an alarm system that can connect to the camera via a cable. Once the alarm input is triggered, it allows events to be received on the camera, which can be configured to send a notification to a mobile app or back to the Hikvison NVR or HikCentral to notify the end user.
