Nexa CM-520

Designed with mobility in mind, the CM-500 Series is compact and portable and comes in 2 versions. A Memory version (CM-520M) for batch scanning, and a Wireless version (CM-520W) for wireless connection to Bluetooth devices.

CM-520M Memory scanner

The CM-520M is a very easy to use portable barcode data collection that is equally usable as an ordinary cabled barcode scanner.

When used as a batch or memory scanner, the scanner can store 4000+ barcodes in memory. Whilst many data collectors on the market need software to be installed on the PC to operate, the CM-520M simply installs itself as a USB-HID device (driverless install). When plugged in it can operate as a standard cabled scanner, but when unplugged from the PC any barcodes scanned are stored in it's memory.

When reconnected to the PC, a simple press of the upload button and all stored barcodes are output to the screen. This means you can open any program or document where you wish the scans to go, press upload and dump the scans straight into your program.

Plugging the scanner in via USB will also recharge the Li-ion battery.

CM-520W Wireless scanner

The CM-520W is three scanners in one, an iOS/Bluetooth scanner, a memory scanner and a standard scanner. It is designed to simply pair with your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch and can work with Android and other Bluetooth devices.

An example of how this scanner is specifically designed for use with iOS devices is the ability to display or hide the iOS onscreen keyboard from the scanner. Many other Bluetooth barcode scanners connect as a keyboard and in turn disable the iOS onscreen keyboard, meaning if you need to type you have to disconnect the scanner. The CM-520W allows you to display or hide the onscreen keyboard at anytime by pressing a button on the scanner, meaning the scanner can stay connected via Bluetooth at all times.

The CM-520W can also be used in Batch mode, so it can scan and store barcodes in memory to upload to a PC via cable, or with the included cable it can plug into a PC and be used as a standard cabled barcode scanner.
