Product Overview
AXIS T8129 PoE Extender is compatible with all Axis network video products with PoE, and supports both IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at. Check in the Typical set-up section for connection examples with Axis network video products. Range depends on the power required, so a 25 watt PTZ dome camera may be located 200 m (656 ft.) away using a single AXIS T8129. Or, the cable length to a regular 5 watt network camera may extend up to 400 m (1312 ft.), by fitting three AXIS T8129 at 100 m (328 ft.) intervals.
